Role overview

The Photographer is responsible for developing still imagery that aligns with the studio’s broader visual practice. This role emphasizes observation, timing, and sensitivity to context rather than constant production. Images are shaped through attention to light, environment, and presence.

The role requires patience, awareness, and the ability to respond to situations as they unfold. Photography here is treated as a considered process, where meaning develops through restraint and clarity rather than immediacy.

About the role

As Photographer, you work closely with the Creative Director, Director of Photography, and production teams to support projects across film and photographic work. You are involved from early planning through execution, contributing to visual coherence and narrative alignment.

The role values responsiveness over prescription. Rather than forcing moments, the Photographer allows scenes, subjects, and conditions to guide the work, resulting in imagery that feels grounded and intentional.

This role is based on-site within the studio. Workdays are structured to allow time for preparation, observation, and focused shooting. The pace encourages clarity and attention, giving space for images to develop naturally.

Compensation and approach

Compensation reflects experience and responsibility. The studio prioritizes sustainable working rhythms, clear expectations, and conditions that support thoughtful photographic practice.

Closing note

This role is suited to individuals who value presence over pace and clarity over volume. If your photographic work is shaped by observation, patience, and care, this position offers space to contribute with intent and focus.
